Munchausen 1943

If there is one film made during the Hitler regime worth seeing it is this one. Miles better than the Gilliam version and hardly a trace of any political interference, at least as I could see, it is a visual feast for the 18th century and classic escapism almost on a par with anything Hollywood could knock up.
