Cartoonist Robert Crumb's work is now part and parcel of the landscape of the blues from a modern perspective and love him or hate him it's hard to approach the subject without considering his contribution. I find his work entertaining and useful - let's face it - rural blues is not the most accessible form of music and any attempt to interpret the lives of the greats is worthwhile - this book brings together all of Crumb's blues pictures amd strips and is a must for comic and music fans.
