Picked up this booklet published in 1986 about life in Buckland Dinham before the war. Interesting stories about cider making haymaking and village life. Mentions the Fountain Inn. I used to frequent the Fountain in my youth. Buckland Dinham is a village near Frome. It had a colliery and also nearby Mells had a pit. Also see here
