I collected these. I decided I wanted to be a movie buff and this publication was favourably reviewed by Barry Norman. My Dad used to cycle to work and stop at the newsagents at St John's Road for his Guardian and would pick them up and then give them to me at work where I read them in my 'cage'. A chronological history of the movies with bits on contemporary cinema like John Carpenter, John Landis etc. They had a binder and made about 15 volumes including an index. Still have them but the internet has supplanted them effectively.
