We played here. They were very resistant to the noise we made. Can you turn the drums down? Was one question they asked a number of times. We offered to give up but they didn't want us to leave as we had drawn a decent crowd but they were so against the noise. Funny thing about it was when we bought a terraced house in Frome guess who was our next door neighbour? Only the man from the the South Parade club! We had noise issues with him there too. Imagine the look on his face when we moved in.
