First 45 release by Captain Beefheart but one of the many 60s’ projects that the great David Gates was involved with. They made two 45s together, “Diddy Wah Diddy” and “Moonchild”; both of which were reissued by A&M in the UK in 1971 and then by Edsel in the mid 80s. This recording comes from the latter reissue.
