''We have a variety of events coming up in October.

Sunday 5th October is a standard running day with the DMU in service from 10.30. Enjoy a ride through the countryside as the trees take on their autumn hues. Museum, shop and buffet open.

Starting on Sunday 26th October, we have a week of steam, with our visiting loco Kilmersdon in action. On Sunday 26th, dress in your best Halloween outfits and ride the Haunted DMU if you dare for a ghoulish experience. For something less scary, join the steam train as it puffs along the line. Half day rover tickets allow you to ride all trains during your session subject to space. Booking advised as this event sold out last year.

Wednesday 29th is our Pumpkin & Teddy Bear Day. Bring your teddy in his best Halloween costume, and you might win a prize. Autumn themed fun and steam trains for the half term holidays, with Kilmersdon adding to the atmosphere.

Sunday 2nd November will be a steam running day. A chance to enjoy steam hauled services before we start the preparations for our Santa trains.''
