Confirmed DC will finally release Rick Veitch final lost #88 after 36 years.

DC Comics announces in past NYCC that will be released in March 2026, the arc will include unreleased numbers ranging from #88 to #91 and thus close the cycle that Veitch continues after Alan Moore.

Rick Veitch left DC Comics after a dispute over an unpublished story that was scheduled for The Swamp Thing (Volume 2) #88 that for some time travel Swap Thing would meet jesus and this would become the same cross of Calvary the publisher decided not to publish it and Veitch resigned, but we will already have the expected end of a character who needs a good closure as it deserves.

'A strange record - a current single faithfully recreating a 60s northern soul sound - you have to listen to this one ... I think for authenticity's sake it should be brackets the No No No song close brackets. Be aware - this song will leech itself onto your brain and not let go. No No No. I do prefer the Detroit Cobras' modern take on classic soul but this one does have good percussion and an interesting lyric going for it.'

A riot broke out on 2 October 1766 after several Lincolnshire merchants purchased a large quantity of cheese with the intention of selling it in their county.[nb 1][9][2] They were subsequently surrounded by a group of "rude lads" who demanded the merchants not take away the cheese and instead share it out in Nottingham.[2][3] Violence eventually broke out over the dispute and rioters proceeded to loot a large quantity of cheese throughout Nottingham; shop windows were broken and hundreds of cheese wheels were thrown and rolled down the streets, including in Wheeler Gate and Peck Lane.[9][5][10] The mayor of Nottingham, Robie Swann, attempted to disrupt the riot and restore order, but was knocked over by a rolling cheese wheel.[5][11]

Sunday 5th October is a standard running day with the DMU in service from 10.30. Enjoy a ride through the countryside as the trees take on their autumn hues. Museum, shop and buffet open.

Starting on Sunday 26th October, we have a week of steam, with our visiting loco Kilmersdon in action. On Sunday 26th, dress in your best Halloween outfits and ride the Haunted DMU if you dare for a ghoulish experience. For something less scary, join the steam train as it puffs along the line. Half day rover tickets allow you to ride all trains during your session subject to space. Booking advised as this event sold out last year.

Wednesday 29th is our Pumpkin & Teddy Bear Day. Bring your teddy in his best Halloween costume, and you might win a prize. Autumn themed fun and steam trains for the half term holidays, with Kilmersdon adding to the atmosphere.

Sunday 2nd November will be a steam running day. A chance to enjoy steam hauled services before we start the preparations for our Santa trains.''
