13th Floor Elevators - Tried To Hide 1966
Love this version.
from The 13th Floor Elevators - Wikipedia
In early January 1966, producer Gordon Bynum brought the band to Houston to record two songs to release as a single on his newly formed Contact record label. The songs were Erickson's "You're Gonna Miss Me", and Hall-Sutherland's "Tried to Hide". Some months later, the International Artists label picked it up and re-released it.

Fundraiser by PAUL BOSWELL : Reg Presley legendary singer of the Troggs tribute mural
Since creating the large UFO / Warminster Thing mural in Warminster last Summer which attracted a fair bit of media attention,It’s been suggested that I create a mural for Reg Presley, legendary singer of the Troggs who in later life was very interested in UFOs , crop circles and other strange phenomena . So we have been given a wall for this and are currently trying to get some funds together to make it happen. The funds are for paint mainly and my time creating it .

From here. When Did the Aurochs Go Extinct? Causes and History - Biology Insights
The last known aurochs died in 1627 in the Jaktorów Forest of Poland, marking a significant moment as one of the first documented extinctions. This final individual was a lone female, surviving after the last male aurochs had perished in 1620. Records indicate her death was due to natural causes.
The population of aurochs had been in decline for centuries, with a relic herd in the Polish royal forests being the last to persist. In the mid-16th century, this herd numbered around 50 individuals, but by 1601, only four remained. Despite efforts to protect them within this royal reserve, their numbers continued to dwindle, culminating in their extinction.

The Boots: Baby please don't go 1965
Founded in 1965, the Boots quickly became the favourite rock band on the West Berlin scene. Their repertoire consisted of British R&B from idols such as The Pretty Things and Them. By the end of the 1960s, this type of band had had its day. In 2005, the remaining members wanted to celebrate an anniversary. They needed a drummer for the reunion. Someone had suggested they ask me. I had long since moved on to other musical directions, but maybe I would be up for a little trip down memory lane. I was. This recording of ‘Baby Please Don't Go’ was made during rehearsals.
Video: In 1966, a film crew accompanied an amateur band on their concerts in the southern German province. Musically, it was nothing sensational. The band did what everyone did back then – cover versions of rock standards, Chuck Berry, etc. The highlight is the audience, who cheerfully emancipate themselves from the restrictions and confines of the province.Chug a lug - Roger Miller 1964
I like Roger Miller - excellent songwriter. This is a great drinking song.

From The Director Of The Original Animated THE LORD OF THE RINGS And The Illustrator Of CONAN THE BARBARIAN
