Kogar says this is on Netflix. Our kids will be pleased. They are bigger fans than us. They have seen them live - we haven't.
Are we not men? We are film critics, here with a review of "Devo," a fantastic documentary about the post-punk, new wave band. But even describing Devo in those terms doesn't fully do them justice. Director Chris Smith ("Fyre") explores the group's history, from their origins at Kent State University in the 1970s through their early MTV popularity and beyond. It's a fascinating look at their influences and political worldview, and it provides the eye-opening realization that Devo has been right about everything all along. Featuring interviews with Mark Mothersbaugh, Gerald Casale and Bob Mothersbaugh. Streaming now on Netflix.
