So 40 years ago we started reenacting. Our first event was at Glastonbury for the 300th anniversary of the Monmouth Rebellion which happened in the West including Frome. Susan used to do it too and was good at sewing. She made the outfit she is wearing.  The English Civil War Society was very folk music orientated - there were lots of singers and musicians but I suppose beer was a big factor though I didn't drink at the time which worked against me. We eventually left to do Napoleonic reenacting.
