Today at our daughter's house we found ourselves watching an episode of Scooby Doo and was surprised to see a story about an Andy Warhol type character and a band. The singer was called Eeko. It was bizarre.
"The Hunters" is a song on Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. It was written by Andy Sturmer and Mitch Watson. It appears in the sixth episode of the second season "Art of Darkness", in which it is performed by fictional art band, "Sunday Around Noonish".
The lead singer of the band is Eeko, voiced by Grey DeLisle. The band is also a reference to the rock band, @The Velvet Underground, while the band name is a reference to the song "Sunday Morning" from the VU's debut album.
