Usually it was the Daffodil festival at Mells on Easter Monday. Has been a bit patchy the last few years but in its heyday was great. You would see loads of people you knew from Frome and Radstock as Mells is in between. Drinking, listening to bands, all that sort of thing. Stalls. Pub full. Vintage cars. Hog rosts. Reenactments and the Bad Detectives.
