An occasional series on local pubs. I think this is closed now. The road layout changed which may have been a feature. Listed building 17th century updated in the 19th. I played there with the Bad Detectives in the skittle alley in about 1978 and I remember seeing a ferret hutch out the back. Lots of the punters were Romany and really danced when we did an Elvis song so we did all the Elvis ones we knew. It was close enough to Frome to enable people to walk out from Frome. We had a great time there.
