One good thing about having a blog like this that few people read is that I can post what I like...and I choose to post this sequence - it's quite a contrast to the parade in 1945 - lots of cavalry, tachankas (horse drawn machine gun carts pictured at the same parade in 41), some very old-fashioned looking artillery and lots of KV-1s by the look of it.
