Dave Chapple's book, "Resistance and Resilience: The 1926 General Strike and Lockout in the Somerset Coalfield," is a tribute to the Somerset Miners Association and is based on three years' research in the SMA Archive at Bristol University. The book covers the 'Nine Days' and the seven-month lockout that followed, including events such as the faked 'guss and crook' photo and the Radstock Middle Pit Bomb Plot.
