I remember this cinema. Went to it quite a lot. Attended Saturday morning pics there too which was fun. A lady was MC amd she would have people who had their birthdays on stage. People faked it to get the free sweets. 'Shut up for the Queen' was her catchphrase which preceded the National anthem. They showed serials and children's film foundation movies. In those days of you enjoyed the movie and wanted to you could stay put and watch it again. May times my parents had to drag me out of there.
