On a personal note 1985 was the 300th anniversary of the Monmouth Rebellion which took place in the West. It was what got me into reenactment. I did my first event in Glastonbury with Susan and Bea. There was a shop front in Frome where they did a recruiting display and I was already interested since a kid and I joined up. We were lent kit. Belwo is the credit sequence to a 1972 children's adventure series the Pretenders. Frome gets mentioned. .
