I picked up this DVD from a charity shop for 50p. I vaguely remembered seeing it at the pictures. Stars Daniel Day-Lewis and Juliette Binoche in their younger days. Set in communist Czechoslovakia (which I did visit once). Set in the 60s it is described as a romantic drama. Trailer
here. Not too bad really. Some erotic content. Pretty watchable I thought, and Susan sort of enjoyed it. I have to say I haven't read the book so I cannot judge it that way but as a movie it was fine. Shot in France (Lyon). 18 certificate. Film
