Ken Loach has a hit on his hands with a film about the Irish Struggle for Independence centring on the fight against the 'Black and Tans'. This is a great period for films - it was visited in the big-budget Michael Collins.Loach's historical film Land and Freedom was certainly very good so this bodes well.
