Ralph Mitchard Blenheim Palace 2004

 One of the last reenactments I took part in. Part of the 300th cycle of events which started in 1985. Simon made the coat I am wearing. He made it in 89 for Killiekrankie. 

I met Nigel House at this event for the first time since about 83. It was very dramatic.  He approached me and asked if he had missed the battle and I took off my wig and said 'hello Nigel'! We had a good catch up and went to the tea room.
