A. (Skif) Apsit: Long Live the Three-million Man Red Army! (1919)
Apsit's panoramic vision of c victorious Red Army streaming across the great plains of Russia was produced in late 1919, before he fled from a Moscow threatened by the White Army. Apsit lived to see his early Soviet posters denounced as stylistically bourgeois in their idealism and lock of socialist realism.
