I've been trying to get to grips with the art of playing harp in a rack while playing the guitar ready for our gig in London next tuesday - not as easy as it looks - it requires practice - so I thought I'd view one of the great one man bands of all time Dr Ross. Ross made some great boogies for Sun Records and elsewhere and I heartily recommend him to y'all. One man bands are having a resurgence these days - it's not just a question of having no mates - playing solo can give you a brilliant locked in boogie sound that would probably bore backing musicians causing them to overload the primitive toe tapping synchronisation.
