This was the first song that I saw HDT's genius. I first heard him in a listening booth in the mid 70s and I didn't like him - thought he was a bit crap. Fast forward to the 90s when I heard a cover of this song by Jack O'Fire and it made me check out the original and found it exceptional and wanted more.
