When I gave up music in about 84 I gravitated towards politics. I stood in Frome for a number of elections around 1985. My father was a Labour politician so I think I was trying to emulate him. I was very fired up at that time (miner's strike etc) but I gave up and got involved in reenactment. After all I already had a beard!😄
