IFG who make the 'Italian front' uniforms and equipment are sponsoring a WW2 Italian army UK section - see above link. Maybe I'm mad but this is about as tempting as it gets - not because I'm a Mussolini sympathiser (not that that would be appropriate) but because the Italians have got a bad press, and their kit is pretty stylish.
I haven't done anything this year but I usually do the 18thc - (French and Indian war and American Revolution) and the Monmouth Rebellion of 1685.
ReplyDeleteIve posted some pics - thanks for the encouraging comments on the blog - nice to know someone is reading it. Where are you from and do you reenact yourself?
ReplyDeleteI did some mainstream reenactment in the Napoleonic wars (French of course)
ReplyDeleteWhat do you do in World War two? I have a few friends who do this period but in the UK it seems to mainly revolve around doing military vehicle shows. I get the impression that in the states there is amore experiential aspect - more private tacticals. Is that so?
